Getting from Miami to FLL

We used SAS a couple of weeks ago and it was easy. Another alternative, depending the amount of time you will have or need to kill is to rent a car from Hertz. They have a downtown location and a shuttle to/from the cruise port. They did not charge me extra for a one way rental between FLL and Miami.

SAS cost us $15 per person, we rented the car for $30 overnight with a coupon from Visa

In addition to SAS check with QLS transportation (www.qualitylimoservice.com ) and Go Airport Shuttle (http://goairportshuttle.com/). Shared shuttle service for 4 (including 2 children) is likely to cost you $60+ -- for another $20 or so you could just load the car seats into a cab and be on your way.

You might also check with Larry's Limos - usually equal to or slightly cheaper than a taxi and a much nicer ride.

Whichever you choose, please tip the dirver a few extra $$ for the time spent installing your car seats. Good luck! :)

We used Larry's Limos for our trip in December. Our driver (Nathaniel) was very professional. The cost for the 2 of us was $94 which included the tip and the driver meeting us in the baggage claim with our name on a board.

We were delayed overnight in Chicago as we had missed our connecting flight (we were travelling from Europe) but there was no problem when we called to reschedule our pickup for the following day.

We were expecting a sedan but were surprised when we were taken in a stretch limo.

Overall we were very happy with the service-much nicer than a cab.
