Alaska - which side of the ship is best?

I am cruising to Alaska in 2013 on the Miracle, and I'm wondering which side of the ship I should book to see the best views? I am particularly interested in the views for the Inside Passage and Glacier Bay. Here is the itinerary:

Day --------- Port

Monday ------ Vancouver, BC, Canada

Tuesday ----- Cruise Inside Passage

Wednesday --- Fun Day at Sea

Thursday ----- Juneau, AK

Friday -------- Skagway, AK

Saturday ----- Cruise Glacier Bay

Sunday ------- Ketchikan, AK

Monday ------- Fun Day at Sea

Tuesday ------ Seattle, WA

Beautiful views from either side. In glacier bay in particular as they turn the ship around so both sides get all the views.

That is good to know. For the Inside Passage, is the scenery also on both sides?

Yes, the trouble is knowing what side the whales/seals are going to be on:D. you can always go up on deck to check out the other side. A lot of the time you will be in narrow passages and can see land from either side and some of the wildlife might be on the side away from the closest land you just never know, but for scenic cruiseing ALSAKA ROCKS, IMHO.

Choose Starboard on that because it is basically a north bound route.
