KristenFMR920 Posted March 29, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2012 We upgraded to a JS on Freedom and leave Sunday but we do not have new luggage tags and it's too close to have new one's sent. when I view our documents online with the paper luggage tag in the back of the booklet it's still our old room location. What do I do when I get to port to ensure that my luggage makes it to the correct place?
Rare Familygoboston Posted March 29, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 29, 2012 They will have tags at the curb, you'll just need to fill out your new cabin # on them and you are good to go!
RazorbackIslandGirl Posted March 29, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 29, 2012 I have marked through the original room # & written the new # with a bold marker & had no issues.:D But they will gladly print new ones curbside if you choose!;)
cb at sea Posted March 29, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 29, 2012 Not a big deal at all...new tags, or write over the cabin #...that's all you need to do!
joandian Posted March 29, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 29, 2012 I've done the same thing too. Just write the new number on with a permanent marker. Worked fine.
Mmketeer Posted March 29, 2012 #6 Share Posted March 29, 2012 I agree with all the posters and when you see your cabin steward you might just mention it to that person. Sometimes the luggage can still end up on the wrong floor or next to your old cabin. That did happen to us once, but as soon as we mentioned it to the cabin steward that we hadn't gotten one peice of our luggage yet and could it be at the old cabin before we upgraded? He immediatly went and checked and yup that's where it was. :) Oh and one time a piece didn't show cause we were on the naughty list (got a phone call on that one)- darn bottle of wine. LOL!
