So I read on here to send an email to players club to see if you qualify for anything. Well I only play slots and no more than $300 ever on a cruise but I thought, heck it won't hurt to ask. Got this reply today:

 

Hello Mrs. Stephenson,

 

 

 

We are excited to hear you will be cruising aboard the Carnival Dream!

 

 

 

We would be happy to extend a Standard Bon Voyage package which will be delivered to your stateroom upon embarkation.

 

 

 

Should you have any further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me.

 

 

 

Have a wonderful cruise!

Could you share with me a few things.

 

- What email address did you write to?

- How long did it take to get a response?

- How soon is your upcoming sailing?

 

I have written twice now, but haven't received a response. I'm assuming it's because my next cruise is so far off.

nice you are actually on the cruise when we get back off of the dream we are sailing 5/5/12

 

I have a phone number i like to talk to people better then email and he is the VIP oceans player club guy

 

good luck to all who try.....we ended up getting the standard basket which is better then nothing

So I just called the players club to get a conformation email because I read all the horrible stories and the lovey lady told me I also have 100 dollars casino cash I am very exited!:D:D:D

WTG! Congrats!! So how much do you have gamble to get $100 credit?

Didn't she say she played $300 in the casino? Well guess what? I played more than that and all I am getting is a box of chocolate covered strawberries. She is getting a free picture also with the strawberries, I am not. Guess it depends who gets your email :rolleyes:. Right!

Thanks for the encouragement to try e-mailing. I had asked my TA to look into it and she said that Carnival had no record of perks for me and that I should just play a lot on my upcoming cruise in hopes of getting something. I'm a slots junkie and I usually have a budget of $500 to gamble w/ and that of course goes up and down given how well I'm winning. I couldn't imagine having played enough to be offered a free drink from the casino hostess wouldn't net enough points toward something. But yes, I intended to gamble plenty on this next cruise regardless of what the email netted. :)

 

Emailed playersclubfeedback@carnival.com yesterday afternoon and got this response about 2 hours ago:

We are so glad to hear you are sailing again! We will certainly extend a standard bon voyage package to your stateroom! Please ensure to check-in with the casino host once on board so they can extend any further comps based on your level of play while on board. We look forward to welcoming you on board!

What is the difference between a "standard" bon voyage package and a "premium" bon voyage package?

I'm not sure what a standard includes but I have gotten the premium which was a fruitbasket with wine and cheese, a photo

coupon, 2 large bottles of water and I also came back to my cabin one evening to find chocolate covered strawberries.
