Catamaran excision with children

Any thoughts on taking young children on a catamaran excursion with a 3 and 6 year old? Is it safe to assume that they have life vests on board? Thanks.

If they allow kids that age, it's as safe as anything...they will have vests for all passengers.

Agreed. If there is an age limitation on an excursion, then there is an issue. Otherwise it is OK. Generally life vests aren't required.

As safe as the conditions are.. you could be on the safest ship in the world with bozo's running the place, think Titanic.

 

I've done catamaran when my children were small and had no worries in hawaii, YMMV as to what you are comfortable with.

We eventually went on a catamaran excursion with the kids in Tortola. They did not have life vests for the kids. Lucky thing that we brought our own.
