DH was just looking at Venice on Google Earth and it seems to be part 3-dimensional. Sun Princess is at the back.

Hope someone got them. I've been immersed in the "Shipping Intelligence" in the 19th century newspapers - only managed this one. Besides, Shipwatcher is spitting the dummy where I am.

I am afraid, there was no port webcam shots (apart from what packetau posted), but I am going to try and find a webcam or two to try and catch her leaving!

I have a cruising mate and his wife, (Jim and Reiko) joining Sun Princess in Dover on 8 July for Dover to Sydney.

 

He is wondering what is going on. Will pass this information on re blogs etc. Thanks to those who posted.

 

He leaves Sydney Thursday, 4 nights in Paris and 4 nights in London before embarking SP at Dover.

 

My only comment..very expensive @ $15000 pp for a balcony cabin for 51 nights, scary, when you think we did Arcadia this year, 49 nights, Syd-Sou for $5200 pp, outside cabin. Could have got a balcony on that for $7000. Less than half, well just over a third of what people are paying on SP, scary.

The Sun Princess webcam stopped updating from then onwards, in till they left Venice harbour :(,

 

 

Thanks goodness for AIS! as I was able to track the Sun Princess the rest of the way!
