Why does NCL do AA meeting at Night?

Addiction is 24/7. Sometimes people will go to several meetings a day, especially early in their sobriety. Then again, that person might not be ready for a cruise.

 

There's always the possibility of taking over a quiet lounge with a few fellow Friends of Bill W for an inpromptu, un-dailied meeting.

 

Any two people who seek to talk to each other about their needs within the AA program makes him meeting whenever you need one. Hello

On the Jewel for 47 days recently and I am sure they were held between 5pm and 6pm every afternoon/evening, hardly at night.

As AA members, one of our responsibilities is to "carry the message." It is not NCL's responsibility, and they certainly do not "do" AA meetings.

Come on guys!!! After the OP's comments and supposedly canceling the cruise because of this, a little humor can't hurt!!! No one is seriously making fun of AA, just the OP I think???:rolleyes:

Oh my. I always forget to check posting dates. This one is 6 yrs old.

Loveaftcabins, I did notice that this was a very old threat also but wanted to make sure to add a few comments to clarify the statements that were being made. Leaving for Alaska on Norwegian in a few days and looking forward to having that option for a meeting in the early evening.:D
