Yes, the cruise I referred to was in Australia under "aussie rules".

 

Someone said that the 1 bottle pp at embarkation is only enforced on Australia based ship, like the Dawn Princess?

 

How do we know if a ship is based in Australia or elsewhere? What about the Diamond Princess, is she "Aussie" or "American"

 

We will be on the 32 days Asia-Australia-New Zealand cruise with the Diamond next november, is there any chance that we will be allowed to bring wine on board at port of calls?

Last year we did the circle Indian Ocean cruise on Sun Princess & we had no trouble bringing back the odd bottle of wine at ports

The Diamond is "American".

 

Might you be allowed to carry on multiple bottles of wine? yes, you might. Most of the time, Princess does not enforce a limit, but the rule is there and could be enforced at any time.
