So I have searched and searched and searched again for some Fascination reviews with pictures....

I have looked at the regular reviews and check the thread multiple times a day but have yet to see a Fascination Review that is newer...

To be honest I don't know if that’s a good thing or not..

So if you have pictures even if you don't want to do a full review if you could just put a little information that would be amazing..

I have cruise multiple times but I have a group of newbie’s that range from 60 years young to mid 20's and I'm trying to prepare a little ....

There was a really good one done about 2 months ago which included pixs of almost everything on the ship. It was not in the review section but on the message board. If I come across it I will post to put it back on top.

For what it's worth we sailed on the Facination for the first time in January and liked it so much we sailed again in April. It is an older ship but it has been well taken care of and the staff is great!! We will book her again with no hesitation.

 

When you go, be sure to stop by the Atrium bar and say hello to Tommy. He is from Indonesia and has been with Carnival since 1985. He's a great guy!!!

We cruised Fascination in May. It was not our first cruise, but our first on Carnival. We enjoyed it very much.

 

The ship was easy to navigate. Loungers were hard to find anywhere the first sea day, but then easier as the week went on. HMC was really nice.

 

The food was not great, but for the price, we can't complain.

 

Our cabin steward was awesome, as well as our wait staff. Everyone was friendly. The ship was a bit gaudy, but clean and well maintained.

I was on the same sailing as Zoedokey and had a blast!! I really enjoyed Half Moon Cay and the Serenity deck. It was my first cruise and my mom and I already have another booked on her sister ship, Fantasy, in December.

I kept telling myself I was going to write a review but it still hasn't happened.

I did a review in December of last year..and then we went on the Dream last month and we are booked on the Fascination again this December...this will be our 3rd time on the Fascination....love the ship and love going to Key West!:)

How was it?

 

It was fun!! The ship is nice, not too big. Food was pretty good, dining room staff awesome! My son loved the waterworks, we spent most of our time there. The only real complaint was inside the casino was so smoky I was sneezing, eyes watering and the smell made me slightly nauseous. Guest services was great. Our room was handicap accessible and a decent size. Next time I will get a room with a porthole or window because if you are in a regular room you will never know when it is morning lol. The pool is very small but it was never overcrowded. No chair hogs, there were always lounge chairs available.

We are sailing the Fascination in Nov, I am super excited, and have read the reviews, they are so mixed man. But we are still looking forward to it and it would take a lot for us to have a bad cruise. I am always happy to read the positive reviews!

I couldn't agree more that was one of the main reasons I started this thread... I have come to realize those who write reviews with pictures often tend to be more honest telling the good with the bad....

Here is my review from my trip last year on the Fascination

 

Thank you for replying, we got 5 rooms at Jacksonville plaza for the day before and the day we get back so it was nice to hear about the hotel.

 

We are traveling the weekend of the Florida vs Georgia game so we went for the best deal
