blancheneigedlp Posted August 19, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2012 So I noticed that the itinerary says this: Due to security reasons, all guests must be on board 2 hours before sailing. Disembarkation usually begins 2 hours after docking. So does that mean if the arrive/depart times are 8:00am and 4:00 pm that we will only have from 10:00am-2:00pm to be in port? I'm thinking I will have one port day where we stay on the ship. With two 3-year olds, I think it might not be worth the hassle for only 4 hours? That is for the day you board the ship to leave on your cruise. When in ports you need to be back onboard 30 minutes before the ship leaves. INDIANA JOE Posted August 19, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 19, 2012 Those times apply to when you 1st get on the ship and when you are getting off the last time. Usually when in port, you will be able to get off as soon as "the all clear" is given and need to be back on no later than 30 minutes before departure time. They will tell you at each stop. Sauer-kraut Posted August 19, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 19, 2012 Just be sure to check your Freestyle Daily for the return time, it will also be posted on a sign as you step off the ship. Don't be late!
willysgrandma Posted August 19, 2012 #5 Share Posted August 19, 2012 And make sure you remember to set your watch to the ships time when you are going through time zone changes. Your Daily will have info on this.

jdvmd Posted August 19, 2012 #7 Share Posted August 19, 2012 Nope. You will need to be onboard 30 minutes prior to departure. The two-hour rule applies to embarkation day only.
