In all the Lido balconies that I've stayed in (on Magic and Triumph), the rooms above might can see down onto your balcony a little - if they lean over the rail. They would have to make a deliberate attempt to see down onto your balcony from above. And no, noone can walk by the outside of your room...the only thing you'll see when you're on your own balcony is the water...or whatever the view is at the time.

And again, in all the Lido balconies I've stayed in, yes, there is a sofa in the room.

All the Lido balcony rooms I've had have all had a sofa. ( Last 3 cruises.)

If others want to actually look down or around they can, if they lean out or over the railing.

If you are planning on joining the balcony club, who cares, enjoy yourself.

If people lean way over, they might be able to see a few feet onto your deck. Otherwise they can see your railing and wave to you if you are standing out at the same time.

No, the Lido cabins on Dream are up high, deck 10. There is no way for people to walk by on the outside. There is a Promenade on deck 5 that goes most of the way on each side of the ship. Looking up, it is very difficult to see into the higher deck cabins.

Yes, there will be a couch in your cabin.

We sailed Dream back in April. LOVED her!

Enjoy your cruise.

Our cabin was on the Panorama Deck which is one deck above the Lido Deck. This is what we saw looking down without leaning way over the railing. http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2807677350030186251ludAds

And this is why you won't have to worry about people walking past your cabin. There is dividers between each cabin on the balconies. http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2869059970030186251pwFqaR

Here's your couch. http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2005536580030186251EkuXaf
