Transfer from Liberty/Oasis

We will arrive in Fort Lauderdale on Liberty we then are doing another cruise on Oasis same day

 

What would be the easiest way to get from one ship to the other?

 

Do we need a taxi /can we walk?

Good question! We're going on the Allure and then transferring to the Independence the same day and were wondering the same thing. I certainly hope there are some knowledgeable CCers out there that can shed some light! One way or the other, have a great time!:)

Just hop in a taxi....it's weird to try to walk it and not exactly a short distance with luggage in tow.

There used to be a port bus that would take you between terminals. I try and find out on my 10/7/12 Allure cruise. Have you contacted RCI about this?

I think Royal Carribean might actually provide transportation for you for free. I know when you booke two cruises that are one day end and begin with a day in between they pay for shuttles and hotel for the night. You should call rolay and see if they will provide something.......for your back to back........

I don't have an answer for you, but just want to say I think that is a great idea to get off one cruise ship and get on another. I've heard people doing back to back on the same ship, but not switch ships. That is so cool. Have a great time. :)

OP you might want to call the B2B desk on that. They do sometimes count switching from one ship to another like that as a B2B. They might have something nice and neat available to make that ship switch even easier.

The timing will be slightly annoying for you. Even if you get off the Liberty as one of the last departers, it will still be too early for checking in for the Oasis. Maybe take a taxi in town (VERY VERY VERY close), get breakfast, and taxi back?
