Beaches in Half Moon Cay?

:D I live in PA, we swim in our pool as long as water temp is above 68 degrees and it's sunny.

imo HMC is best private beach as to actual 'beach', even better than disney's amazing Castaway Cay which is more developed.

just wondering, when we booked a cabana had a difficult time trying to get on early tender even when we went down 1/2 hour before start of tender time, so many people had lined up even earlier! Thought it odd they didn't have us meet at designated place for early tender as they do for ship excursions. Not sure if it's the same way now or not.

Were you calling to HMC on a 5 day or less cruise? We were told that they didn't do priority tendering for those with excursions and/or platinum/diamond on cruises less than 5 days. Which in all honesty makes no sense at all.

hmmm, not sure off-hand but was on a Destiny sailing, so it probably was a 5 day since we spent a few days prior in Miami

anyway, that is good info to know TU but I agree is bizarre

They did priority on our Destiny Sailing in May, nowhere does it say that priority tendering is based on the length of cruise. I can already hear the Platinum/Diamond folks screaming if that were true, lol

Weird. Two weeks ago we met in one of the ship's lounges at the time printed on our cabana tickets, along with people who had early-starting excursions. This was on Liberty.

Yeah, that doesn't. My cruise was a 7-day, but to restrict priority tendering only to longer cruises is silly. Now, if it were based on the size of the ship and expected crowd-load, that might make a bit more sense.
