One Day Sale - All of you Early Savers check your prices

Yes, the rate is $938 for Past Guests (if you're booked Early Saver and are not a past guest you can also apply for the price drop).

HOWEVER, have you checked your government fees & taxes? Maybe they've gone up since you booked. Currently they're at $133.84 for 2 passengers on your sailing.

We are booked early saver, first time doing this. I check the price on another website that show price with military discount...it went down $50. I submitted the form to carnival, does the price have to be on carnivals website, dont see where they show military rates??

Isa65 --- Thanks for the confirmation. The taxes are exactly what I have on my current invoice. I will scan and send this to my TA in the morning for her to process the price drop.

She is probably going to get tired of doing these for me....but Carnival will not let me do this on my own since I booked through a TA.

Thanks again

Can someone explain to me the price drops?

I'm a few months before final payment but not booked ES. Can I still put in for some kinda price reduction since my fare has dropped? Or is there another way of doing a price credit for non ES?

Thanks.

yes you can put in for a fare drop up until final payment

I was debating with mine yesterday. It didn't go down, but for $10 more I could have grabbed the upgrade. I was tempted, but decided to use that $10 and take my chances in the casino. LOL

Still holding out for an upgrade at my price for my OV.

Yes...but check back every so often, you never know when the price could drop.

Sorry I should have been clearer - I'm blaming it on the bronchitis and the fact that its less than 30 days til my next cruise lol. I meant when I go into the fareviewer it shows me one price but if I go into the Carnival website and do a search for the same cruise it shows me a lower price so I was wondering if that is normal.

How many in your cabin? I know carnival.com was averaging prices if you had 3 people to show a lower price.

I would use a TA site as a backup to make sure you are not missing a price drop.

I have two cabins. One is a balcony with 2 people and one is an inside with 3 people in it. Both have past guests in them. I have already saved $60 on the balcony and according to the site yesterday I will have saved $30 on the inside cabin but this is my first early saver so I'm not sure if there are other places I should check regularly. I've only been checking Carnival's website.

It doesnt matter which site you use to check. I use a TA site.. some use carnival .. no one can advertise a cheaper price.. so whichever site is the least clicks to me is the best. I have a TA site saved to favorite I use.

I'm confused and hoping that someone here can help me-- I have booked through a TA and I e-mailed her along with screen shots of the sale price on the both the fare viewer and as though I was doing a mock booking for our category 8E. The price had gone down $50 from $1057 to $1007 during the sale.

She e-mailed me back this morning and said that she called Carnival and they told her that the price was higher now, so I am not eligible for the OBC?

This doesn't make any sense to me, because yes the price has gone back up today but it was lower yesterday when I submitted the information to her via e-mail.

Is there any other reason that this would be?

Please help!
