Meclizine availability

Recommended Posts

Is RCCL still giving out free meclizine on the ship? I need to know whether to go buy a stock bottle or just wait. There are 8 of us and most of them get severely motion sick. I know RCCL previously did this and Disney still does. I just need to wrap up some last minute planning.

If so, sign me up!!! Oh, wait, thought you said mescaline. Sorry!

Last time we used it was Bonine, so the answer is yes.

What mushrooms you been smokin, LOL. Thanks, I just didn't want to get stuck without the bonine (meclizine). But for our group size, I'd have to have the pharmacy order a stock bottle if they didn't have it onboard for free like they did before.

You can buy a 100 tab bottle of meclizine at Wal Mart for about $12.00

Thanks, last I heard I could get 250 through the pharmacy for about $9 for a generic stock bottle. I just didn't want to fool with it if I didn't have to.

I bought a bottle of the generic Meclizine from the Wal-Mart pharmacy, and it was 100 tablets for $9.98. THEN I noticed that Target had their store brand version of Bonine (on the shelf) for less per tablet than the cost of the larger bottle of Meclizine I had just bought! Plus, the box had (I think) 24 tablets, so less of an investment.
