I don't know about Oasis, but we were on Explorer last Mother's day and they did absolutely nothing special for the Mothers on the cruise. The staff seemed to recognize it as they were passing around Happy Mother's day wishes to my wife all day, but there was nothing really special.

 

Yes, you could purchase flowers (after you mortgaged your house), have a special drink, or something else, but nothing formal was planned.

We were on Oasis Eastern on Father's Day last year & nothing special was going on that I was aware of..

Just do something for your mother yourself. Buy flowers or go to a specialty restaurant.

I was on Allure last Mother's Day and the staff handed out carnations to all the women upon embarkation.

Yeah, that will be me this year. I did not even realize it was mother's day :) Yes, my cruise countdown has the wrong date.
