Premium Beverage Package

Can anyone tell me if spirits are included in the Premium drinks packages? My husband drinks mainly things like scotch whiskey, vodka, rum etc but the packages only appear to talk about cocktails, wines and juices etc......???

Spirits included, within the limits of the drink price.

I think they would charge the full cost if you get it from a server in the souvenir cup. BUT you can walk up to a bar and ask for it in a regular cup, then it will be no additional cost,

I thought I read a report from someone that stated they we just charged an upcharge for the cup. Tried to search without results. We be there (fingers crossed) two weeks from tomorrow and plan on giving it a shot and I'll report back.

I purchased the Premium drink package on our last 8 day on the Explorer. Will I do it again? probably not! The main reason I purchased the package is we had 4 sea days. I also thought since Explorer had no Diamond Club, we would not get free drinks. Well they were experimenting with the three free drink vouchers.

Let me say it was fun trying a wide variety of expensive drinks, but I don't think I would ever order most of them again. By the third day It was tiring trying to make sure I ordered enough expensive drinks to get my 'money's worth'. Normally I'm just a vodka and tonic, Grand Marnier, and occasionally drink of the day, kind of adult beverage drinker.

I'm a senior, and when I ordered the package it seemed like it would be easy. Ha! Maybe if I was 30 years younger. By the 5th day my consumption had slowed dramatically. Lots of posters have said they ordered the package so they knew what their bar bill would be, and didn't need to be concerned about what they drank. I ended up being more worried that I wouldn't get my money's worth, so drinking became a 'chore'. :D

Enjoy your cruise.
