Does anyone remember what shops are in Grand Turk?

Pretty much the same shops that are at every other port I have been to. As I recall there was nothing different so I went and had another beer at the Local Village bar.

According to the Del Sol web site, there is!

If you want shopping, wait for another port. There are the typical cruise-line shops, emptying out into Margaritaville, but other than that, really nothing.

About the only local stuff we could find was at the museum.

There they sold hand woven hot pads (made from straw or something) and salt from their salt cayes.

The lady who ran the shop was awesome and an abosolute delight to talk to.

 

The shops right at the port were all the normal stuff (i.e. junk) you see all the time...not local.
