RetiredArmyCruiser Posted March 6, 2013 #29 Share Posted March 6, 2013 Early morning stroll around the deck, eat, nap, eat, catch up on movies on the iPad, eat, nap, eat, read a little, look at the ocean, eat, catch an evening show, eat, gamble a little, eat, nap, eat, stare at the waves some more, eat, watch some karaoke (never brave enough myself), late night comedy show, bingo, listening to music on a comfy sofa, and then if I have time, another stroll on the deck, then maybe a snack before bed. That's a typical sea day :D
ClaireAndMike Posted March 6, 2013 #30 Share Posted March 6, 2013 I love trivia. I came in 4th place at music trivia on the Pride of America yet only got half the questions right on the Epic! Simon wrote some tough ones.
GORDONCHICK Posted March 6, 2013 #31 Share Posted March 6, 2013 Top Tip - switch off the electronic gadgets - put them in the safe and forget them for the duration. Get back to interacting with real people face-to-face. Sorry, my Nook will always be with me!

TruckerDave Posted March 6, 2013 #33 Share Posted March 6, 2013 Ships. A boat will fit on a ship but a ship won't fit on a boat. Boats are also designed to sink. ;)
Rhea58 Posted March 6, 2013 #34 Share Posted March 6, 2013 Since I travel solo, I bring a highlighter w/me as there are so many great activities both day & nite; esp the Trivia games & at the 5:30 one cocktails are 2-for 1 which may not help our team scores. and eat something different every day. Twelvevman Posted March 6, 2013 #35 Share Posted March 6, 2013 I love to sit on the balcony at night listening to music while watching the stars.
gambee Posted March 6, 2013 #36 Share Posted March 6, 2013 You know on both of our cruises we wanted to do more things that we had time for. And even if there is nothing for you to do, there is always relaxing on your balcony and having a drink. All my coworkers are always questioning me why I am so keen of cruising, the funny thing is that there is no answer for that. I simply just love being there (this coming from someone who swore to never to set foot on a cruise ship a few years ago ) and experiencing everything that the ship has to offer. crackycruiser Posted March 6, 2013 #37 Share Posted March 6, 2013 PEOPLE WATCH!! Love to sit outside the buffet and snack while people watching. It's a favorite of me and DHs.
shelly11 Posted March 6, 2013 #38 Share Posted March 6, 2013 Put up the cell phone until it's time to go home. Swim. Enjoy the hot tub. Catch some shows. Try to attend every comedy show and game show. Visit the library daily for suduko, trivia and cross words. Eat! Walk/run the track. Take too many photos. Just watch the ocean. QuickieGlenn Posted March 7, 2013 #39 Share Posted March 7, 2013 I enjoy people watching, and listening to what people say. But you eat so much and so often you forget what it feels like to get hungry I know the daily has activities all day but most things I will not do, or want to participate in I admit that I do get bored on the last 2 days Most things that look interesting at night starts so late (at least for me)
