How close to brochure price do you pay?

Hi,

 

New to cruising & I'm a bit confused.

 

I had decided to book Fjords & Iceland on the Brilliance 26 July 2014 & have looked online & this years cruise on 27 July is $1379pp for an inside so I was hoping to pay a similar price.

 

Picked up a 2013 brochure today & price is $1900pp.

 

How long after release do you think the price started dropping, or does no-one ever pay brochure prices?

 

I was hoping to book early to get a good choice of cabin, but won't be at those prices.

Brochures mean nothing.

 

If you wish to price cruises, use the Royal Caribbean website.

I'm glad to hear that that cruise is on the books for 2014. I've had my eye on the 2013 version. The price has come down a lot in the past couple of months.

and also you can find a website that offers on board credit and maybe pay for tips, but start w/ RCCL website.
