Hazelnut1106 Posted March 13, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2013 We were there on the Queen Mary. It was truly a fun experience even if it meant standing at the rail for over an hour to ensure we had a good viewing spot. The QE is a beautiful ship. Keuka Lake Sailor Posted March 15, 2013 #8 Share Posted March 15, 2013 I am onboard the QE and it was an exciting evening for me, having sailed on the Queen Mary as a kid. Our captain told us the next day that there were 2,000 people on the Queen Mary, watching us.
Sea Tiger Posted March 15, 2013 #9 Share Posted March 15, 2013 I am onboard the QE and it was an exciting evening for me, having sailed on the Queen Mary as a kid. Our captain told us the next day that there were 2,000 people on the Queen Mary, watching us. Thanks for that. I hope one day to be on board when The Queens meet again. Enjoy the rest of the voyage.
