vwrestler171 Posted March 15, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2013 OK, I booked 2 rooms past guest for an Oct cruise on the Inspiration. Now I see both rooms are $20 less due to the current sale. As far as I could tell, the deposit is still refundable for this sale. What would be the best way to go about getting the total owed back? Cancel online and wait for the money to return back to my account or call Carnival and see if they can adjust it? Usually book ES, but this time past guest was $50 cheaper at the time. loanshark Posted March 15, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2013 Call them. In the future.... you could have booked ES originally, then matched to the cheaper rate. Doing so would allow you to keep the ES status on your booking for future price drops.
vwrestler171 Posted March 15, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted March 15, 2013 Past guest also allowed me to cancel if I needed too, not sure about someone in the other room.
n6uqqq Posted March 15, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2013 I use past guest and Carnival has made adjustments for lower prices as long as it is before final payment due.
