Hi there

We had aft JS 7654 - this was end of August 2012. The ship had been refurb'd. Our room was great, the balcony was amazing - it was the best balcony we had ever had. Yes a little soot but our stateroom attendant was great & kept it nice. Two sun loungers and a small table. It was a great sun trap. I have a photo to add if I can work it out on this phone!

We were in Aft Suite 8588 same cruise as MaxsMom. We had horrible sewery smell in bathroom and also wouldn't flush at times.

 

Biggest complaint soot all over balcony was horrendous every day 2/3 times they would send someone to clean it so couldn't use balcony a whole lot

 

Now I am nervous we have 8586 booked for Jan 2014 soot worries me had that problem on Oasis had to check your chair before you sat on balcony and also on public aft decks. Have been on Granduer before never had a problem.
