Just about every museum ship slowly dies. I prefer ships not live in this agony and die quickly. I hate to see rust defy a once beautiful ship.

The Norway met the same fate. NCL thought that they could repair it, but decided against it. Sadly, it was scrapped.

Exactly...... My favorite is St. Judes children's hospital. In any case I wish that $5,800,000 donation 20 months ago had gone to some sort of humanity based organization. Seems like a much better use of a person's "extra money" to me.

 

Don't get me wrong I see the historical and sentimental part of it but in the end, It's just a bunch of steel?
