WiFi Hotspots on the Jewel?

I did a search of the CC site and found the last entry for this question was almost 3 years ago. Hoping someone that sailed her more recently could give an update on if they expanded the hotspots on the ship.

When we did our b2b last fall, the Centrum Area on any deck was the best place. When the Jewel goes in for enhancements she will most probably get complete WiFi throughout the ship as has been done on ships that have been enhanced already.

Know this picture is kind of blurry but as other poster posted they are limited and no wifi over entire ship.

I was on Jewel in March and confirm it is localized more towards the centrum area. We had an aft cabin and had no coverage back there.

Yes, can confirm that the Business Services area on Deck 7, and the Library on Deck 9 were good spots; had a few seats there and not usually crowded or busy. :)

Royal has removed Jewel from the published dry dock schedule, so we don't know what the plan is for Jewel.

We are on the August 10 sailing of Jewel of the Seas and my husband will have to access work. Expect he can expense the costs but they seem extraordinarly high to me. We are new to cruising.

Awesome, so are we! I saw in one of the Cruise Compass that they had discounted rates from 7a-9a I think...like 20% off. Hope its the same for our sailing too!

You might warn him that speeds will be extremely slow and at times he may not get in at all.

Can anyone report on how good or bad the wifi signal is in the Solarium on Jewel?
