Extention Lead / Power Strip

Think my cousins across the 'pond' call them 'power strips' I'm sure I'll be corrected lol. Anyway are they allowed on POA?

Yes, power strips are allowed. I also use a adapter that converts one outlet into three. Not sure why the previous poster uses an extension cord.

Power Strip - Extension Cord - - -

Same idea "*BUT*" different.

Power Strip is an extension cord of sorts - may have two to six three

prong plugs with a switch and built in circuit breaker. Lengths from

3-6 feet (2 meters).

Extension Cord - almost any length with 2 or 3 prong plugs at the

receiving end and may have 1-3 outlets at exit end.

Basic 2 prong plugs just a simple extension cord no safety features.

With the 3 prong plugs the added grounding wire may be a life saver

in wet circumstances.

Excellent idea to bring at least one extension device to connect a laptop

computer; cell phone; battery charger; electric shaver and/or other

electronic gadgets.

Some cruise lines have very limited outlets in the cabin especially the

older ships.
