Booking Onboard Incentives?

Hi everyone,

We have purchased Open Passage Certificates in the past while onboard a Celebrity ship, but have a specific cruise that we want to book while we are onboard Summit in a few weeks. The cruise qualifies for the Captain's Club Savings currently being advertised. What are the incentives for booking a specifi cruise while onboard? We are Elite.

Thanks for the help.

Generally, they will upgrade your cabin three levels within category (inside, outside, balcony) and they will upgrade C3 to C2 (not C1). No free upgrades on suites. Additionally, you will generally pay a lower deposit. Everything else is generally the same as being offered the general public. They can also add any additional benefits/OBC's such as captain's club just as if you made the reservation at home.

In addition to what ghstudio mentioned, there is also the OBC that is usually given, the same as the certificate you received for an open booking.

Note that there are combinability restrictions with all Celebrity offers so if you have another offer, it is likely not combinable. For example, the current 123 offer is not combinable.

LOL that is where X gets you . The 123 Go packages have been included in their cruise prices.

Interesting about booking a future cruise while on board the ship .Yes ,we book a veranda 2D (obstructed view ) & get upgraded to a 1 C at the 2D price points:D .Then we get that on board credit & it comes out to $300 for 14 days or longer & $200 for 10 days & up to 14 days .We will book while on Century in October the Soltice B2B .The first is the 4/3/15 date from Sydney Australia to Honolulu (18 night cruise --we get the $300 OBC) & then the 4/20/15 from Honolulu to Van couver (11 night cruise --we get a $200 OBC) .

Our TA then gives us more OBCs & free trip insurance .

All these extra cash perks off set our tips & a bit left over;):D

Being at elite tier level we get enough free cocktails each day to satisfy out drinking wine ie :p.Thus ,we never will book a cruise with the 123 Go package *(.X just doesn't give away that much in value with out recouping the cost + in the cruise pricing)

Thanks everyone,

Appreciate the feedback. It looks like we will be able to book a lower priced verandah and upgrade to a 2C. I think that the current Captain's Club Savings is combinable with the OBC for booking onboard.

Thanks!!
