lovely_serenity Posted July 1, 2013 Author #726 Share Posted July 1, 2013 I like the pictures better than the scanning of everything. The pictures are sharper making it is easy to read everything. I see that the Volendam still has the old Cabin Breakfast menu. Oo good! :D I was hoping that the words would show up better! O_o? The old cabin breakfast menu? What do other ships use? lovely_serenity Posted July 1, 2013 Author #727 Share Posted July 1, 2013 Curious as to why it's not available on the Volendam? When you say "it's", what are you referring to? I am comfused LOL
CatgirlNC Posted July 1, 2013 #728 Share Posted July 1, 2013 (edited) Curious as to why it's not available on the Volendam? According to Krazy Kruizer's post the switch to the new breakfast room service men happened in early June. The cruise in this thread took place on May 1. I think we would need to ask someone who has cruised on Volendam more recently to find out what the breakfast menu looked like. lovely_serenity Posted July 2, 2013 Author #731 Share Posted July 2, 2013 **made a mistake, actually the picture after Skagway port info is the backside of the Ketchikan port info sheet. I forgot to take a picture of the Skagway sheet backside, here it is though: Day 5 Papers & Fun Stuff During the day, I found these randomly appearing on the vanity: (come to think of it, perhaps the last one is the back of the excursions suggestion sheet from Day 1, but who knows LOL) and here was the next port of call's info sheet: The highlighted areas were the shops that I had redeemable coupons for ^^"
lovely_serenity Posted July 2, 2013 Author #732 Share Posted July 2, 2013 Here's one of the coupons I used in Ketchikan: (I found a whole bunch of random ones in a little slots of papers next to the gangway LOL) & here was the next day's daily On Location: Open: Flip: && chocolate + room service card. Day 6 Papers & Fun Stuff The next day would be our final sea day, so we didn't really get many things. Only the daily On Location: Open:
lovely_serenity Posted July 2, 2013 Author #733 Share Posted July 2, 2013 Flip: And the usual room service card & chocolate, as well as a special little message: Day 7 Papers & Fun Stuff That night, aside from the usual room service card & chocolate, we also received this: A Cruise Log that depicted every little thing about our entire trip. Open: Flip: That night, I also dug around inside the secret compartments of the beds and found these hidden things: A bathrobe order form:
lovely_serenity Posted July 2, 2013 Author #734 Share Posted July 2, 2013 (edited) Back: a fruit bowl filler form (it was so well hidden, I'm pretty sure it was so no one would use it LOL): a HAL pen & some paper: Well, that's it.
