Kiwi Kruzer Posted June 10, 2013 #53 Share Posted June 10, 2013 One of the tour options the worldies would have had , would have been an overland trip to the Taj Mahal. They would have left the ship in Mumbai then re boarded today in Dubai.

K-Roo-Zers Posted June 17, 2013 #62 Share Posted June 17, 2013 Has any one been to Safaga?, what was it like? We did Safaga last year. Was an extremely long, but absolutely fantastic day visiting Valley of the Kings! It was about 45 degrees and hot as! Made Petra seem cool - it was only around the high 30's or early 40's - lol! We had the best Egyptian guide -a local lady - an Egyptologist (trying saying that after a few drinks!!) who was absolutely fascinating. A definite must do to anyone who visits Safaga. I think they have to wait, form a group , and then travel through in convoy. Did you have "security " when you went through?
