Embarkation lunch on Gem

We are set for the Gem on the 7 day cruise in July. Do they serve lunch in one of the dining rooms as well as the buffet. When we sailed on the Pearl they served in one of the 2 MDR. So much more relaxed than the buffet. This was not publicized but I had seen it mentioned on CC.

Yes, I forget the name but its the dining room in the aft section of the ship. The buffet is chaos, head to the dining room!!!!

the best tip I ever got on CC...GO TO MDR upon boarding.....!!!!! :D Such a relaxing way to start the cruise..

Sometimes Blue Lagoon is open for lunch on embarkation. Worth checking it out when you board. :cool:
