Zada Posted August 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2013 This January, a group of 35 of us will be taking a cruise on the Carnival Conquest. All of us have flights later in the day so we are in no hurry to get off the ship and most likely will be some of the last people to debark. I am arranging a shuttle to pick us up at the POM and I'm trying to figure out what time to tell the shuttle service to pick us up. What time is a good time to tell the shuttle company to pick us up? Rare Keith1010 Posted August 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2013 A good time to give them would be 10:00 AM. That would allow you to be one of the last ones off the ship and will provide time to pick up your luggage and to go through immigration and customs. Daisyloo Posted August 19, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 19, 2013 I second what Keith says. The latest we have ever stayed on board was just before 10a.m. The ship wants you off so they can clean and get ready for the next set of passengers. eandj Posted August 19, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 19, 2013 9:30-10:00 is good. There will be many fewer bags to go thru to find yours in the terminal. So it will go pretty fast. BTW.. Your car service might assign you a time, depending on what the rest of their schedule looks like. If they have an airport pickup, they might give you an earlier time. But suggest the latest time you can so you avoid the rush and the "hurry-up to wait" ship-assigned departure times.;)
Zada Posted August 19, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted August 19, 2013 Thanks everyone. You'd think after taking 7 cruises, I would have remembered what time we'd be off the ship. I'll request 10am for a pick up time.
