Pizza ?

For those that have sailed (especially on the Sun), is there a free pizza option (and if so what choice of toppings) on board or only the $5 paid for pizza? Also, can anyone tell me what size is the $5 dollar pizza (10", 12", 14", etc..)?

There is always pizza in the buffet-cut into slices. Unsure of the size of the pizza as I've never ordered one. I'm assuming they would be the same size as the ones in the buffet which are large.

The only free pizza is in the buffet. I think the $5 pizza is 14" or 16". The first time we ordered 2 thinking they would be small and found out cold pizza in the morning tasted really good. They maybe bigger than you think but not as big as coming from a NY pizzeria. More a long the lines of a chain pizzeria large.

Out to Sea, Think of it this way, in the buffet the slices are cut for snack size (3 bites and gone) and the pay to order pizza is cut for got the munchies size (hold you over till meal time).

Just want to add the pizza you pay $5 for is really a lot better than that from the buffet. Better toppings and thicker crust. We really liked it but buffet pizza was also good so more than enough options or you.

Regular, pepperoni, bar b que chicken, and few other choices...not sure if you are able to build your own. I think there is also a white pie. Hope that helps you.

We had cheese, sausage, mushrooms and pepperoni and think you could add just about anything. No set menu choices that I recall. Am sure peppers, onions, ham, etc would be available because those things are readily available on board.

Yeah, you will get a pie you will like. All the most common toppings that's what I recall, our trip was 9 months ago and my mind is like a rusted trap.

I liked the pizza on the buffet...each day they had a plain one and 1 0r 2 other choices..which changed by the day....gave me a chance to try new toppings :) (yes-small slices..and thin crust...)

And from my understanding, they'll deliver it anywhere so if you're sitting by the pool you could have them deliver it there as well.

You can have it delivered to the pool, however we never did. A for the buffet pizza there is plain, pepperoni, sausage, and maybe veggie. Buffet is hit or miss on toppings depending on the day, there were some times I looked at the pizza and walked away. There is always a plain though.

No. The delivery charge is waived when you order the pizza. If I recall correctly, it's also waived if you order only a beverage.

The 5 dollar pizza is as good as any chain pizza place like Pizza Hut papa johns ect. We ordered a pizza and salad one day for lunch on a sea day was amazing!

I was pleasantly surprised since i am a jaded NY'er who has eaten many a slice of pizza
