razzzbere Posted September 5, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2013 We're going on the Splendor in May 2014 with another couple. We have two kids ages 6 & 8 and they have one child, age 10. I know my kids will be together in camp, but it doesn't look like the 10 yr. old will be in their group. She's a very shy 10 yr. old and may not want to go (the first day anyway) unless she can be with her younger friends. Supposedly Carnival has a strict policy on age grouping and will not put the 10 yr. old with the younger kids. Has anyone had any experience with the Camp Counselors bending the rules?? Thanks!! ;)
CruiserBruce Posted September 6, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2013 The best and most appropriate place for your research is the Carnival board.
kitty9 Posted September 6, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2013 They will not allow a 10 year old to be with younger kids, and yes, they are strict. Some has to do with age appropriate activities, some with liability concerns and finally, you rarely find older kids who want to hang with the "babies". Keith1010 Posted September 6, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2013 Kitty9 is correct. I am sorry but they do keep the children separated by age group. Keith
