Plantinum Status for all cruiselines?

Question for ya'll....I know Carnival owns alot of other cruiselines, so I was wondering does your Carnival VIFP status follow you or do you have to earn membership rewards with each cruiselines?

What about the Carnival stock? If you get a onboard credit for having Carnival stock on Carnival, would you get that also on another of their lines?

Platinum status does not follow you from cruise line to cruise line with Carnival. You can get past guest rates though if you sail on Carnival and go a first time on Princess and Holland though.

 

I would think the stock would be able to be used on all Carnival Corp cruises. Never tried though.

As noted above, Gold/Platinum/Diamond NOPE, but YES, if you own CCL stock, you DO get OBC from any of the other cruise lines owned by Carnival. It's a GREAT benefit IMO. :cool:

Yes it would be nice if every one of my eleven cruises

--all on Carnival CORP. ships-- were taken into account

Carnival doesn't, but others do. For example, I'm Platinum on Royal which automatically gives me Select status on Celebrity and Explorer status on Azamara even though I've never set foot on a Celebrity or Azamara ship. :D

Thank you everyone. This helps alot, I wasn't sure since Royal does give you the select status.

 

Looks like I need to buy the Carnival stock! LOL!
