goodycruising Posted March 11, 2014 #144 Share Posted March 11, 2014 Nice pic in the dark with both ships! I didn't realise some of them stay overnight at Auckland. We left at 3 ish last trip we had that went there and it was way too early!
Kiwi_cruiser Posted March 12, 2014 #145 Share Posted March 12, 2014 I didn't realise some of them stay overnight at Auckland. Its not very often cruise ships stay overnight, and mostly the ones that do are the Premium lines, like "The World", Oceania Cruises (Marina, Who has spent 3 days here!!), Crystal Cruises (Crystal Serenity & Crystal Symphony) etc... and any other time any of the other cruise ships stay overnight it would be because of the weather or a issue with the ship. We left at 3 ish last trip we had that went there and it was way too early! What a shame :(, most ships leave Auckland about 6 - 8 pm, depending on if they are heading home or around NZ. Kiwi Kruzer Posted March 21, 2014 Author #146 Share Posted March 21, 2014 From the Port of Tauranga cam...a good shot of the forward viewing areas on Sea Princess. Dawn and Sun are the same. To some its a secret area to get to , but once you know how to get there , its easy and you get great views.
