The letter I got said the same thing. When I called, they said any cruise I wanted. Might just be a form letter and might not. Call the number and ask.

Are these letters mailed, emailed in the special offers section? Want to make sure I don't miss anything. Also, for folks that have gotten these...how long after your last cruise did you receive the offer? Thanks!

I got my letter hand delivered to my cabin on the last cruise. It was for any 3-8 day cruise. Had to be booked in two weeks and must sail by 5-31-14 ( was on the Conquest 11-16 through 11-24.

Was really no catch (which I thought there would be). When I got home, I called the 800 # in the letter and asked what cruises were available. Was told any cruise qualified. In the past, I have gotten letters mailed after a cruise for only certain cruises.

Anyway, only catch was I had to pay the fees. My wife was included free, but with fees and taxes it came to $356 for the two of us to sail the Breeze on 3-15 for 8 days. Normal cost was going to be around $1800 for the 2 of us.

Hoping to do well at the casino again and get another offer.

Hang on to any casino cash or fun chip letters/offers. They say you have to book by xxx date and sail by yyy date. Players club told us that as long as you sail by the yyy date, they will honor any offer.

We have accumulated 4 offers, from $50 to $75 each, and will be cashing them all in on board next month. Now, I just need to figure out how to get the drink card earlier... Grins!

My friend just got one of these letters also, we called and got a cruise on May 3rd on Freedom upgraded to an outside for just $35, great deal go for it!!! You just have to pay port taxes and an upgrade fee if you want an outside cabin...

I haven't cruised on Carnival in the past 5 years, but I did get a letter from VIFP with a similar offer. I could book an inside for $100 for 2 people, with $100 OBC, or I could pay a little more for a better cabin. Of course, I had to pay taxes and port fees. I ended up booking the Breeze 6 day cruise next March. With taxes and pre paid gratuities, I am paying just over $500 total for an aft balcony cabin for 2, plus $100 OBC... A savings of about $1300+ over regular past passenger rates.

I don't want an exact amount but can those who received a free cruise letter tell me approximately how much you spent/loss/won/played in the casino while on your last cruise? Thanks...

Last cruise I did this:

I got one too. I was wondering if anyone booked one or if there is a catch? Is it for two people? I left me letter home and only took a quick glance at it.

I booked a seven day cruise for May 2014 with the two cabin upgrade to a balcony room for under $500 wahoo. For my wife and I. Call per my PVP the rooms are going fast.

I got the free cruise letter on the Conquest in Nov delivered to my room the second to last night of the cruise. It was an 8 day cruise and up to that point I was up about $1000. I don't think it is how much you lose or win, but how much you play (wager). I play craps only and here is my betting style.

I had bought in for $500- $1000 each time I played. Played about 2-3 sessions a day. Wagered bets from $30- $90 per bet. AND TIPPED MY DEALERS AT THE END OF EVERY SESSION WELL. I say that because of my betting strategy makes them work for their tips.

First night, I won $1400, second night won $2200, lost the next 3 days about $1000 each, and next night won $1100, then the letter came.

Anyway, the last night I won $3500, so I came out way ahead, but they probably thought they were going to get it back. They didn't.

Next cruise (the free one) I am taking the same $2000 to gable with and when it's gone, I am done. Hope to repeat the same performance again from Nov
