OBC... how much can you take home?

Does anyone know how much OBC Celebrity will credit back on your card?

I know there is a limit, wondering what it is. Thanks.

If it is OBC from Celebrity you get nothing back. You have to spend it or lose it. If it is OBC from your TA you will get that refunded back on your card. Once on the ship check your account. I've forgotten the exact codes but some where you will see "N" and/or "R". The "N" is non-refundable. The "R" is refundable. The good thing is that the Celebrity OBC is used first :)

Just a slight correction: You can get the non refundable back by getting cash at the Casino. They will charge 5%, but that's better than losing it entirely. The rest of your post is spot on.

Or, when checking in, elect to pay by cash, and you will not be charged the 5% in the Casino. Then having liquidated the cash via the Casio go to GR, present you CC and change your account to Credit Card.

That works, especially if you have a large OBCN. However, I never seem to have that much,if anything remaining to justify the hassle. But it is a great suggestion.

Last November we got over $400 credited back to our credit card after sailing on the Connie. This past May, we got over $200 credited back after sailing on the Allure. These were obcs we received from our online travel agent.

I've never heard of a limit, but it could be.

GREAT! We have $475 from our TA on an upcoming cruise. I'd prefer to do private excursions and then get the credit on our card to pay for them.
