Docking in Tortola

Sorry if this has been posted, but where does Carnival dock in Tortola? Trying to figure out the best way to get to the Baths on our Freedom cruise.

The Baths is on a whole other island.

 

When you get off the ship, you then find the local ferry dock about half-mile away from where your ship docks.

They go to/fro the other island.

 

Plan ahead -and well. ;)

Thanks. I knew that it's about a 25 minute ferry ride over to the Virgin Gorda and the Baths. I guess what I was wondering is where the ship docks in correspondence to where the ferries leave from.

 

I was looking at Speedy's ferry that goes out there.

Was there in March 2013. Probably one of, if not, the best excursions we've done as a family.

Awesome place to go. However check the schedule for the ferry very carefully to make sure you can make it back to the ship on time.

We are going to the Tortola and the baths next month. We are using Dion as an excursion guide, he uses a speed boat and gets you to the baths earlier than those on the ferry. I am going to write a review on the excursion when I return.

We used the guidelines in http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1815538 - we were the first ones off the ship and caught the first Speedy's shuttle. It was a great day and I'd highly recommend the trip over!

One of the top two excursions EVER!!! We went to the baths in 2010 and used Speedys it was fantastic! Loved every minute. The only excursion that topped it was using Terry in Samana Dominican Rebubilic and horseback riding up the mountain to a waaterfall.

Loved Tortola when we stopped there in the Breeze in April. Sad they are stopping going there.
