Casino - cash or seapass?

You can do either. If you have OBC that you don't know how to use, you can use that. If getting cash from the casino expect a 5% charge.

Can you explain this post? If you play slots with Cash - and Win - do you get cash ticket ? Do you pay a fee to collect?

If you play slots on SeaPass and win - does it credit your SeaPass? Do you cash it out on final day of cruise?

This is my first RCCL and not sure exactly how the casino works.

You cannot play slots on your SeaPass, so no winnings go on your SeaPass. You can only use cash or a cash out ticket to play.

If you see people using their SeaPass in a machine, it's only for the purpose of accumulating points. The SeaPass acts as your "Player's Card".

First time on a cruise and I want to visit the casino. Do I take cash? or do I use my seapass? thanks for any help.

Here is my experience. I always use cash. But, you can use your seapass to get cash from the cage. They will charge you to do that, I believe is is 3%.

Put money into slots. If you hit or have money in and want to cash out, hit a button, and a slip comes out. Walk to an ATM like device, put ticket in, and your cash will be dispensed.

For table games, give them cash, they give you chips. If you quit and have chips, go to the cage, give them the chips, and they give you cash.

The fee was raised to 5% last year.

You can also take the ticket and insert it into another slot machine to have your credits there. If the casino doesn't have a ticket-cashing machine, you can cash the tickets at the casino cashier.

This is true.

No, not to cash out a ticket from the slot machines. The fee is if you use your Seapass at the cashier's window to get cash, or at the tables to get chips (Same as getting cash, they just skip the step of giving you cash and having you hand it right back to them to get chips)
