Definitely see Blue Man Group, we didn't the first time we sailed but I am so happy we did this last time. It's different and pretty neat. Legends was also good, Steven Tyler was GREAT!! Have a wonderful cruise!

When I cruised on the Epic last December, I was surprised how much movement I felt, even though it's an large ship. If you're prone to motion sickness, you may want to bring some pills or sea bands.

When we cruised last February, we didn't feel anything mentionable and I'm prone to sea sickness. It was business as usual and even in the documentaries at least two different captains of Epic have commented that they are positively surprised of how nicely and comfortably she handles and sails - despite her crude looks.

So I'd say that it all depends a lot more on the seas and general weather than it does on the specific ship.

Oh great :( I usually go the large RCCL ships and stopped using the patches because I don't feel it...didn't get any this time because I saw Epic was pretty big. I'm deck 12, mid ship....I have Dramamine already...should I get bonine too?

If you already have something, I'd say that you're good to go. If your Dramamine doesn't help (there are different variants, the non-drowsy one is basicly the same as Bonine), you can get small two-pill packs (at least that's what I've gotten earlier, lately I've had my own) of generic meclizine (active ingredient in Bonine and non-drowsy Dramamine) from Guest Services by asking - only thing about that is that is mainly preventive so if you are already sick, it won't make you magically feel better in a flash - but if taken once a day, it should help the remaining days at least. And as usual, YMMV - your mileage may vary.

Don't worry, be happy! :)

I was in this 2013 xmas cruise and I sure felt the sway (not as bad as Disney but never felt a sway on rccl freedom or genesis class).

Do the slides on port days and you can go many times with minimal line ups.

Guest services also have Tylenol in case you forget some.

We went last April on Epic and now we're going again next week.

Favorite restaurants were Moderno and Tepanyaki.

Only place I really felt any movement was at the back of the ship on the upper decks. We were deck 9, midship and I hardly noticed any movement at all in the room.

The different game shows/trivia things they did were a lot of fun.

Go to the Q&A with senior staff. When we went it was ship captain, chief engineer and hotel director. I think it may rotate a little depending on shifts and what else they may have on their schedule.

The color of the carpet in the hallway tells what side of the ship you are on. Can help you find your room a little faster
