Congrats on your bookings! We just booked two free cruises today too! One 7 day caribbean sailing over 4th of July week and the 16 day Hawaii in September. Only had to pay port fees/taxes ($133pp for caribbean and $164pp for Hawaii). We haven't sailed on Carnival in five years but are frequent Princess cruisers. Maybe their players club is linked since they are sister companies. I don't spend crazy amounts but spend a good bit of time playing the penny machines. We are super excited!!!!:D:D:D:D:D

Wow! It seems there are going to be a lot of happy cruisers in the months to come. I'm assuming that until I book the other free cruise that I currently have available that I probably won't see any more offers. Sadly I don't have enough vacation time to take them all. Lol. (But I'm working on it) However I will post if I get another offer. I'm really interested in others thoughts on why carnival is selecting certain guest. After all, many people play in the casinos...win or lose. It may very well just be random, but I'd like to know the betting patterns of other passengers that have been given cruises. Anyone else care to share?

I don't mind people not believing but it's a little different when they add the "what's the matter with people" stuff. Do people think I'm a member of the casino squad? Trying to convince little old ladies to bet their entire social security checks? I'm about to post the terms and conditions from the casino VIP section. I have this in my vifp offer too but I didn't think I could use them unless they sent me something specifically for each offer (meaning something in mail saying that i could use one or more)because they aren't on my first offer screen but when i tag my premiere cruise offer all these come up. Sorry attached the long post but had to ask. I have this in my vifp offer too but I didn't think I could use them unless they sent me something specifically for each offer (meaning something in mail saying that i could use one or more)because they aren't on my first offer screen but when i tag my premiere cruise offer all these come up. So my question is when you called you based it on this or mailing? Thanks

 

A few weeks ago, when I looked up my specials, the Premier Cruises showed up, even though initially I hadn't received anything in the mail. I did receive one a week or so later. My guess is, and it's only a guess, that you could book the cruise, but if you ended up not getting the special offers in the mail, which would say how much cruise cash you'd be eligible for ($200?, $600?, etc.) you would probably get the other perks on board, but perhaps not the cruise cash?

well i had the same offer screen as original poster(pc1,pc6,7,8 all free rooms)but when i called they said they couldn't find them only my premiere offer. Hope this helps someone else. I guess it has to come direct to redeem.

 

Hi, does this have anything to do with the "Belize Navidad" Card I received in the by Mail and email? Does anyone out there know the details of that offer?

I did not get a mailer. Just saw the offer when I logged onto my account. I clicked on the offer and booked both free cruises online. I paid the fees/taxes and am confirmed on both. I guess I only get two since after I booked them, the $0 total no longer came up on my cruises. Good luck!

I had to post because I want to know if anyone else has gotten sooo "lucky"?

I received 3 free sailings (I have to pay tax and fees) from Carnival's casino in less than a week. I havnt sailed with them in years. And for those skeptics... no, I didn't spend a bunch of money in casino (less than $1000 over 8 cruises) when I did gamble, but I did win a jackpot. I booked the mother-load..23 days to Fiji, Tahiti, Bora Bora, to Australia. Cost me less than $500 for the 2 of us....I've seen where others were given 1, but never 3.

 

 

In years ...............your in for a change.........

I wish I could find the time to go on the other cruise. I'd hate to lose it. I'm sooo glad others are getting a Lil something back for being such faithful cruisers. You would think that after 10-15 cruises that everyone would get an offer. Some people have cruised 50 times!!! And never given a free one.

I was referring to the taxes and port fees that I mentioned in the original post. They totaled $430 for 2 people.

 

Oh...I would think you would get those back as people who are no shows frequently state they at least got port fees and taxes back.

 

Have fun on those cruises! I guess I should check the VIFP section once in awhile. :eek:

I recieved the original offer by mail. However, the second offer which was for 2 sailings was only found online. In the vifp section.

 

Thanks for all the info. I think what i was seeing on my screen was a glitch because they can't find it and it wasn't on my main offer screen but a screen off of my premiere offer so thats why i was confused. I actually just did a free cruise in September but that offer came in the mail and was not online. I think i had a choice of ten cruises that had to be taken within a few months. So open up those mailers everyone! Also wanted to mention that when I had booked my premiere offer last week my PVP mentioned to me that these offers (free and premiere) are completely random and not based on how much money you play. When you play using you S&S card it generates into system thats all and then they pick randomly. My hubby never gets offers and plays at tables so she said to have him just put his card in my slot machine every now and then so he's in casino system .

The one I received mid December was via snail mail but when I went to carnival's site and logged on, the same "Free Rate" ($100. for interior cabin for 2 and $100. refundable on-board credit) was listed under VIFP Special Offers.

 

I booked a large balcony on the Dream for +$70 pp. and still have another "My Special Offer" Casino Offer starting at $99. pp for my choice of several other cruise options.

 

Looks like they are trying to fill cabins with 3000 point Players Club members so even if you tossed the snail mail offer, check VIFP Special Offers.

You don't have to reach 3000 points to get these offers. CCL is trying to fill the cabins, period. :rolleyes:

1 point ~ $2.50 (approx.) For slots, it's how much goes through the machines, not how much you win or lose or spend. Apparently, I put $7500. through the slots last year without ever being down more than $300. (or up more than $250. I left up $100). I did spend a lot of time there in the evenings, got the free drinks sticker on night two.

My friend got 3500+ points on his last cruise, and the offer he received while on the ship, 20% discount on a 2-8 night cruise plus $50 cash. Why are some people getting these great offers and some are getting close to nothing?

 

 

Has he / she checked their VIFP Special Offers online?

We were able to get a 'free' cruise for Mexico, leaving on Feb 22nd.

 

Today when I checked carnival, I was able to put a courtesy hold on a 15 day hawaii trip, and the 23 day fiji trip (interior, $0 fare) for a total of THREE free cruises if I were to follow through with the booking. I'm floored!

 

The Fiji cruise is most likely definitely not in the plans, but we are seriously considering the Hawaii cruise in October. I'm so EXCITED! All of these were seen/found online using my past guest number.
