Dietary needs on Celebrity

My family will be sailing on the Equinox E. Med. this summer. We have 2 family members who are gluten sensitive. How do I go about making sure the kitchen is warned ahead of time. I know once we board we can speak to the table waiters but should the reservation be flagged somehow?:

I think you can call special needs and they'll flag your reservations....but this is a common issue and the folks on board know how to work with gluten free. It's a bit easier if you are in fixed seating, but even if you are in select dining, just tell your waiter and they'll take care of you. They also have gluten free options in the buffet, but you often have to ask to find/get them.

Yes, you should have been sent a Special Needs form with your booking.

Fill it in and return it 90 days before cruising.

I then mention to the Maître 'D during embarkation afternoon. He is usually sitting in the Main Dining Room (MDR)

However the menus are now symbol coded and there is choice every night.

You will be invited to pre- order the following evenings selection before you leave the dining room.

I got off the Solstice just before Christmas. I have a gluten sensitivity as well. The menus in the main dining room and the specialty restaurants all have each thing offered on the menu labeled. There were 4 (gluten free, vegetarian, lactose free and I'm not sure what the other one was). I had no problem at all. The Oceanview Cafe is another story, although they do offer gluten free pasta and pizza on request. I can, for the most part, just look at the dish to know if I can eat it or not. If I'm not sure... there is a ton of other stuff that I know I can eat. I would put it on your reservation, but don't worry too much.
