Whoa...dude...confused! Hot tub/spa on the Star

I'm confused...just read another thread and the implication is that I have to buy a spa pass to use the hot tub on the Star. Am I:

a) crazy and confused

b) an idiot

 

Please advise/explain if you can???

You can use the hot tub by the pool on the Lido deck without any pass.

There is also a little known/used hot tub on one of the high decks in fromt of the ship. Wish i could remember which deck, but it was almost always empty on a full cruise.

The spa area is great too. You may find it is worth the money to you. I wish I would have taken advantage of spa passes years before I did.

Have the thread go "poof". On my last cruise, I found out about the tub on CC. By the end of the week, many more folks on board had as well, but the first few days, no one was there.

The hot tubs in the actual spa itself will actually be HOT.

The other hot tubs, around the pool will be hardly warm.
