Next week...but I won't be reporting live. :(

Well, if your not reporting"live", which I can really understand as it is really expensive, and I wouldn't do it by a long shot, but at the end of the cruise would you be willing to do review, so those of us who would like to do a cruise later could benefit by your review. Just so you know that you don't have to do a review, but it's a thought:D

I will make every effort! I will be taking notes and photos! But, if my kids don't start going to school (stupid snow!) I'll never get the time! ;)

It's ok, really, whatever you can do. If you can't do anything because of the kids, so be it, no pressure:D. Just have a great cruise and I wish you the very best and enjoyable fun on your cruise as it should be

Kangaand2roos... are you sailing with your kids? If at all possible, could you get a few pictures of the Camp Carnival activities for me (ages 2-5)? I've been trying to locate some more up-to-date ones but haven't really had any luck. I'd like to give my kids an idea of some of the things they can look forward to doing. :D THANK YOU!!! Have a wonderful trip!!!!

I am and I will! I've been dying to get a glimpse at the 9-11 CC Funtimes myself! Anyone?

I would like to see the 9-11 Camp Schedule!! We are going in May with my 9 year old...his first cruise. I am interested also in knowing (if you get time to jot down) those "camp parties" that stated there was a "fee" for it....but no clue WHAT it is, when it is and what the "fee" is. Thanks!!

BTW- I'm with you and the kids out of school. In Jan they only went 5 days TOTAL due to cold, snow and the 6 days out of school for the water HCMC crisis here in Charleston,WV. Even last week they only went a few days and that was with 2 hour delays. They have not had a full week of school since before winter break on Dec 9th...call THAT crazy!!

Radio- hope all is well with you. I know you usually come back to wrap up your live reviews after you return home.

Hoping you have just been busy.

Yes! Good minds think alike! I have been waiting for the wrap up, unless he has another ending to this thread:confused:

Hello everyone. . . It was back to work for me after my Cruise, but I was able to post all of my pics up to my Photo Album.

I was also able to scan many things that may be of interest.

I really love to post "LIVE", and I had a wonderful time on Pride. The weather was a little cool, but I was on Vacation and it was nice to relax.

My brother is on the current sailing, and he has reported that the weather is much warmer with calm seas.

I am very happy that Pride will be back next year after her FunShip 2.0 upgrades and I am sure I will be sailing with Carnival Pride again.

Thanks for all of the wonderful comments, and thanks so much for tuning in. . . I will be posting "LIVE" again soon. . .

Hello everyone. Welcome to Freeport. . .

Just as I was about to get off the ship this morning, it was pouring down rain. I waited about 15 minutes until it stopped. It was dark and cloudy for about another hour. The sun finally burst through the clouds and it turned into a gorgeous, warm sunny day (82F).

I walked around the shops a little bit just to see what vendors were new. There appeared to be several vendors that were not here last time, and there was new construction going on as well. I decided not to go into Port Lucaya. I was considering taking a cab over to visit the casino, but I decided to just stay at the pier and look around.

I talked with several passengers I met on board and we agreed that if the ship was going to stay longer, it might be fun to explore the island further by renting a car or scooter. The most popular sport at the pier was Senior Frog’s and the place was packed with happy passengers enjoying the good music.

The “Bahamas Express” Ferry came in at around 11AM to drop off passengers from Florida. We were joined at the pier by Carnival Fascination around 1PM, just as we were about to leave the pier.

We left the pier promptly at 1:30PM and sailed away with blue skies and beautiful blue seas. Each hour we sail North, we will lose at least one degree. Brrr. I am sure that the forecast for Baltimore on Sunday morning will be in the 20s.

Here are a few pics from today. Thanks for tuning in.

Thanks for a great review Radio!

I know you didn't spend much time at Freeport, but did you happen to notice if Senor Frog's offered free WiFi (with purchase of course)?

Or do you know of any other place within the port complex that offers free WiFi?

Hi Radio,

Looking to decide today between Grandeur and Pride...

Who performed the "live" entertainment at Starry lights-deck 2 or elseware.

was Hi-lux band playing?Or was it the house band?

Also, how was piano bar ?

Looking for best dancing venues and 70-90-s bands.

What do u think?

Thanks!

Mike
