Indeed, as this sundeck is on the port side, and from there you can see much more (Star Island, South Beach, etc.) than on starboard side (Flamengo).

That would be my recommendation, but the deck area right above the pool is another option. More crowded though.

Thanks to your review and all your pictures....I finally gave in and booked the Getaway! I'm still a little worried about the size of the ship and all the passengers, but with all the reviews I'm reading, it will seems "crowding" is not an issue!!! :D

Great choice! Getaway is one of my favorite ships because you can't beat the entertainment and activities, plus I still dream of the food at Flamingo like the chimichuri sauce and tres leches cake! Mmmmm
