We will be Silver Latitudes after our Norwegian Sky cruise in April. We are going on the Epic two days after the Sky. Our Epic eDocs says we are bronze. Will we wait till after our Sky cruise and print our eDocs in Miami? Or print them now? We want Silver perks. Thank you in advance

They won't go on what your edocs say for your latitudes level. It will be on the computer.

The question will be whether the computer has updated in time. Speak to the latitudes rep on the first cruise to try to make sure it is updated quickly, and if it is wrong on the second cruise then go straight to the rep there to get it corrected.

Edocs will make no difference.

Usually takes a couple of weeks for the points to post, and your status updated.

Also, just an FYI. Sometimes there is a 24 to 48 hour window before sailing when your e-docs are no longer available online.

I would print them out just to be sure that you have them. And I agree that your best course of action would be to speak to the Latitudes Reps onboard the ships and see what they can do for you.

Good luck and enjoy your cruises!

It's the Cruise Consultant on the second cruise that needs to be talked to if the keycards still reflect old status. Cruise Consultant on the first cruise can't do anything about this.

Maybe not, but it won't hurt to mention to them about the second cruise, just in case.

It won't hurt unless one values their vacation time (most times I've dealt with Cruise Consultant I've had to wait in queue), how ever it is a waste of time. The points are automatically added to Latitudes account in HQ's computer system after the cruise is completed, Cruise Consultants have nothing to do with the accumulation of points and even on the second cruise all they can do is to check if the HQ system has updated yet and possibly update info to ship's system accordingly.

Most customer service people onboard can't do anything regarding data outside the ship's computer - that is why for example sorting out missing OBC usually takes days, just as with most other reservation related problems after boarding.
