Mahalo nui loa for taking all of us along on your cruise to Hawaii. I really enjoyed reading your posts. I am booked on the Grand for next February. Seems so very far away. I never tire of hearing about the islands. I am fortunate enough to make it "home" several times a year. You are a seasoned traveler and brought some new perspectives to this cruise.

Yesterday was very busy, packing, passing out the last chocolates, seeing the “Smarter than a Cruise Staff” show, the International Crew Show, the ventriloquist Mark Merchant’s show, dancing. We didn’t get back to the room until after midnight. Saying goodbye to lots of people. Hugs, photos, tears. Judy said it all this morning. Leaving is not the hard part, saying goodbye is the hard part.

Ventriloquist Mark Merchant show with the older female puppet was funny, sort of crashed and burned with the little gary coleman/willis type puppet and made a pretty good comeback with the distinctly Asian caricatured puppet.

Then off to the “Smarter than a Cruise Staff” is a competitive trivia against various members of the cruise staff. In this case it was Lexi, Chelsea and Toby. Maybe Judy and I should start playing trivia more often. We would have won. I like the “Where in the World” photo trivia better.

Then back to the theater for the international crew show – Tatiana was fantastic as usual. And then back to Explorers for a final dance with Retrospect. Busy, Busy, busy.

As I said, Tatiana was great and there was a great singer, a waiter from Sabatini’s. If I were not upon the sea was ok. Gavin spoiled it. You cannot volunteer to be the ballerina and then just show up in slacks. That’s heresy. He tried a little trick which fell flat. He started out as the SGT Major, then got “hit” by Veronica and then crawled off the stage where he switched places with Mikey. Mikey crawled back on and Gavin changed into the ballerina outfit. But actually he just put the wig over his head and the tutu over shirt and pants. At least the other CDs went whole hog into the part. Colin, on the last cruise, went fishnet stocking and NO plastic bum!

Gavin, Gavin, Gavin…tsk, tsk, tsk…

Today we used the last two punches on our coffee card for our morning lattes. The elite lounge was packed and we were Pink 6, the last transfer to the airport. We got to the airport at 1130 and are still hanging around as our flight is pretty late tonight.

Hope you all enjoyed the log. I will be posting a complete review, with photos and the patters just as soon as I can.

As Promised:

These are all pdf files. The patters are in color and large, which is why they are split into smaller bites. The largest is about 14MB.

If you have any trouble viewing or accessing, drop a reply.

Enjoy.
