Briar Patch Posted June 22, 2014 #26 Share Posted June 22, 2014 We walked to the Fish Fry. If you're ok to walk a LONG way, its fine. We ate at Oh Andros. Not sure if its still there, but the food was fabulous.
Jillbus Posted June 22, 2014 #27 Share Posted June 22, 2014 We took a bus to the fish fry (1.25 per person) but walked back to the pier. It was a fast walk. We walked by mcdonalds and stopped to use the free wifi to FaceTime home. Sent from my iPad using Forums
galaxrex Posted June 24, 2014 #28 Share Posted June 24, 2014 Wife and I ate lunch at Andros in the Fish Fry. Food was fantastic. Service was good but a little slow. Seems to be the place where the locals eat. Check out the conch salad (conch ceviche) and grouper fingers!
Cruise-Crazy Posted June 25, 2014 #29 Share Posted June 25, 2014 Google "Arawak cay fish fry" and you'll get maps and directions. The area is called Fish Fry. There are lots of restaurants, it's where the locals go. From the pier, its about a 15-20 minute walk along the waterfront or you can take jitneys. I was wondering where in Fish Fry that resturant was.
artypharty Posted June 25, 2014 #30 Share Posted June 25, 2014 I was wondering where in Fish Fry that resturant was. All the restaurants are on one street that is maybe a block and a half long. All of the restaurants are right next to each other.
Loucat Posted June 30, 2014 #31 Share Posted June 30, 2014 We walked from the ship and when we arrived at the area we checked out all of the restaurants. Looked at menus and tried to pick a good one. I do not remember the name of the place but it was not that great. It was OK, just not as good as others describe. Next time I would bring a list of places that are recommended by CC'ers. backnine05 Posted June 30, 2014 #32 Share Posted June 30, 2014 Does anyone possibly have a photo of the menu of these places? Most specifically I'm curious about "Oh Andros"
