Questions about the Liberty

Hi, we are lookking into taking the Liberty and I think we got spoiled after taking the Dream a couple of times. Can anyone tell me exactly what the spa on the Liberty consists of? We loved that thassolphy (sp?) pool in the spa and we got week passes so we could use that pool and the heated lounge chairs and the relaxing room in the spa. Does the Liberty have anything like that? Does anyone have pictures of the spa area? What are some things on the Liberty that you particularly liked? Thanks for any info.

I was on Liberty three weeks ago and had a massage - I looked at the sauna and steam room - both were large and had huge windows with nice views. That was as far as I looked, but if you check the deck plan, you will be able to tell if there is a pool inside of the spa.

There is no T-pool on Liberty. Steam rooms are the older ones, no aromatherapy, but FREE. :D. Liberty does have the Alchemy bar and great service from what I've read. I can tell you for sure in 22 days after we return. :D:D

The friendly staff, beautiful Serenity deck, cleanliness of all common areas, love the color changing chandeliers and the overall decor of the ship, good food presented by efficient wait staff in the MDR, the aft pool with the sliding roof makes it a wonderful spot when it's raining, the Alchemy bar and it's wonderful bar staff is my favorite of all Carnival ships I have sailed on, the Taste Bar, large casino, etc. The Liberty is my favorite Carnival ship, there's a certain vibe to the ship that I cannot fully explain, it just feels good.

I'm not a spa person and wouldn't step foot in a hot tub so those perks mean nothing to me but I can understand why they are important to other cruisers.

After sailing the Dream twice and then the Breeze, we tried the Liberty over Thanksgiving. Many people on here love the Liberty so I was excited to see how it stacked up for us. We always get spa passes on the Dream class ships and we did miss the T-pool alot. We also missed the theater and ropes course. My youngest also missed the pool play area on the Breeze. We had a good cruise on the Liberty, but we much prefer Dream class ships. After you have ammenities that you utilize and enjoy, it is hard to cruise without them. As I said, we still had a good time, we just found ourselves missing the Breeze.
