What is the requirement for footwear for the rock climbing wall? (Independence of the Seas)

 

Do we just wait in line to climb or get a ticket or appointment for a certain time?

 

Is there a time limit on the climb?

Sneakers and you just wait in line, and you climb to the top and get back in line if you want to go again. Lines are usually not long.

You have to provide socks but the sports staff will provide you with appropriate footwear.

 

All you need to do is wait in line - usually the wait isn't too long.

 

There isn't a time limit on the climb - you can take as long as you want.

On Freedom, you just needed socks, they provided shoes. It is recommended sturdy shorts (if you have weak seams or lighter weight fabric, they may pull apart! :eek:) They have set times set aside every day, just look in the daily cruise compass. I believe one time up/down and then if you want to climb again, you need to get back in line. (not sure if this was part of your inquiry)

Rest up and ring that bell at the top!

You must wear socks and they provide the climbing shoes. You can't climb in a wet bathing suit. Thy also provide a helmet. No time limit so enjoy !
